At EleganceInvites, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are under the applicable jurisdiction.
Data We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with our platform:
Account data
Name, email address, password (encrypted), optional profile photo, and language preferences when you create an account or sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook.
Event data
Event information (names, dates, locations, photos, custom text), section configuration, and invitation styles.
Guest data
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and RSVP responses of guests that the event organizer registers on the platform.
Automatically collected data
IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of access, and essential cookies for the service to function.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the digital invitation creation service
- Process payments securely through Stripe
- Send transactional emails (confirmations, RSVP notifications, reminders)
- Display event location maps via Google Maps
- Improve the platform and user experience
- Comply with legal and tax obligations
Third-Party Services
We share data with the following service providers that are necessary to operate the platform:
- Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage (servers in the US)
- Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles credit card data directly; we never store payment data.
- Vercel — Website hosting and distribution (global CDN)
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
- Google Maps — Map display in invitations. Google may collect data according to its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for the service to function:
- Essential — User session, language preference (NEXT_LOCALE), and authentication tokens.
- Preferences — Language and visual theme settings.
Data Storage
Your data is stored on Supabase servers (AWS, us-east-1 region) and distributed globally through Vercel. International data transfers are carried out under standard contractual clauses and adequate protection frameworks.
Data Retention
We retain your data as long as you maintain an active account. Event data is retained according to your plan (1 day post-event on Free, 1 year on Basic, 2 years on Premium). You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
Security
We implement security measures including: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), password encryption (bcrypt), Row Level Security (RLS) in the database, secure session tokens, and signature verification on payment webhooks.
